I am a multimedia journalist dedicated to sharing stories through various platforms. I have experience in collecting audio, creating photo galleries and producing short videos. My work has been displayed on The Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Tribune and my college Website (DePaul University). I have worked on a number of projects like squatting in a heavily foreclosed ward of Chicago, rural life in Northern Illinois, communal living and urban agriculture.
After graduating from DePaul University in 2009, I moved to the Bay Area to pursue a full-time volunteer with the Vincentian Service Corps. As a case worker, I serve individuals facing barriers to employment. I’ll be attending UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in Fall of 2010.
See my resume for more information. I’m continuously working to upload my writing clips and multimedia samples on this site.
Dang girl! Good for you. Keep up the great work.
I worked with Nicole in a commnity center in Oakland working with unemployed peoples. She was amazing – sensitive, insightful, knowledgeable, so right where clients needed… She will be an asset whereever she is.
